Hi all.
After I left the team in training meeting on Saturday I went out and ran 2 miles to pump myself up. It worked :) I woke up on Monday morning at 6 am to start my first official day of training. I went out to run 4 miles, and during the end of my 3rd mile, I started experiencing a familiar, but upsetting knee pain. I ran through it. I went home to ice my knee before work and took a couple of advil. It must have worked, because I got back out on Tuesday morning to run another 4 miles.
Today is my day off and I am enjoying it :) I slept till 7am and ate ice cream tonight with Sean. I will be running another 4 tomorrow after work.
